Course Description

Grades
Tasks
Task 1: Form a group of 2 or 3 students. This group is for both paper and homework
Task 2: Visit the websites of the journals given at the end of this page and review certain papers. Note that you could do mindmapping to identify potential area in which you want to work
Task 3: Collect survey papers in your topic of interest. Using this we will start working on the statistical aspects of our paper

Evaluation will be based on
Mid-Term Exam (15 Marks); covers chapters Probability, Regression and LP; Exam Date: ---
Homework (3; each worth 12 Marks) - (Grouping is same as papers; Homeworks 2 and 3) - --- 2016
Project and Paper - 24 Marks
Final Exam (25 Marks); covers Chapters Probability, Regression, LP, Waiting Queues, Markov and Simulation Modeling; Exam Date: ---
